Clash of Clans
An online game downloaded through an app, used by all ages above 13 years. It is a game whereby you build a village with a strong army, strong facilities, create defence mechanisms to protect your village, its people, the clan and its valuables. The game is about fighting, attaching other clans and being attacked by other clans, and the vital thing is to guard your village with everything you have got.
Whoever wins the round in an attack earns stars for their clan according to the level of destruction created to the other clan.
The game can teach kids how to; think critically and plan and to learn how to move on after making a mistake and learn from it.
Gamers communicate with other clashers within the clan and globally. Because this opens up gaps of chatting with strangers on-line, it is safer to employ digital security as you do not know who you are talking to, so keep personal info private.
The downside is that the game is highly addictive, you will end up with a kid who is glued to the screen for endless hours.
